The app for the Ophthalmic ultrasound atlas has two modules. Firstly, it has transpalpebral ultrasound atlases which mark out and name the relevant structures which users should be familiar with in order to perform this kind of ultrasound.
The app also has atlases of UBM, an ultrasound technique with lesser penetration, which allows users to more clearly distinguish the most superficial structures of the eyeball.
In each atlas, information will be provided regarding its name or section, the anatomical location, the location and position of the transducer in relation to the eyeball or eyelid, depending on the technique. Users can also select the structure they wish to study in order to see its nomenclature.
